  loved being an elder
  raised in southern California to domineering Mothers and pussy wiped Fathers
  Roy was a male chauvinist and made sure everyone knew he was "the head" of the house
  He was waiting for "the end" to come

  Roy had many choices in his life. He sounds like someone who was sure of himself, and travelled in only one direction. That's what he chose, and that is fine with me. I chose a different path when I knew the whole Jehovah's Witness religion was a lie. It came down to my mental state. I had to choose my mental well being. Stay and suffer, or leave and suffer all the consequences that comes with leaving the Jehovah's Witness religion!

  You have three choices once you become a member of the Jehovah's Witness religion:

  1. You wake up and see all the lies, false doctrines and leave

  2. You know the lies, false doctrines, but decide to stay due to family and friends. You become PIMO

  3. You believe the Governing Body is the spokesman for Jehovah that you become so brainwashed, to the point of sacrificing relationships for this cult, and wait a whole lifetime with broken promises for ''the end'' to come... only it is your life that will end.

  If I accept a Bible study, will I be pressured to become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses?
  

  No. Jehovah’s Witnesses love teaching people about the Bible, but we never pressure anyone to join our religion. Rather, we respectfully present what the Bible says, recognizing that each person has the right to choose what he or she will believe.—1 Peter 3:15.

  Really? The whole point of a Jehovah's Witness Bible Study is to use study aid publications written and prepared by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. You will be introduced to all their beliefs, doctrines and practices in this ''supposedly'' Bible Study. You can bring in your own Bible, but only their publications will be studied.

  Does this study pressure you into joining and becoming a Jehovah's Witness? Do you have a right to believe what you choose to believe? Here is your answer:

  
  

  Improving Our Skills in the Ministry​—Discontinuing Unproductive Bible Studies

  WHY IMPORTANT: People must call on the name of Jehovah in order to be saved. (Ro 10:13, 14) Yet, not everyone who agrees to study the Bible wants to live by Jehovah’s standards. We make the best use of our precious time in the ministry by helping those who truly want to make changes to please Jehovah.   What will help us to trust and obey the direction we receive during the great tribulation? (See paragraph 15)

  During the great tribulation, we may receive instructions that seem strange, impractical, or illogical. Of course, Jehovah will not speak to us personally. He will likely provide direction through his appointed representatives. That will hardly be the time to second-guess the direction or to view it with skepticism, wondering, ‘Is this really coming from Jehovah, or are the responsible brothers acting on their own?’ How will you fare during that crucial time in human history?

  The Great Tribulation is finally here! Jehovah's Witnesses are gathered in a secret meeting place to find out their instructions to safety. Who will take the final direction?

  The appointed representative is seen with the final instructions (holding a tablet). The directions may sound strange, impractical or even illogical. Why even question the representative while he is leading the direction to safety?

  The brother standing up looks like he doesn't agree with what he is being told. Don't be like him! Be like the rest that are pictured. They look like they will not second-guess the direction.

  The whole point of this Watchtower Study is don't ask questions on any direction the Watchtower Society is taking! Overlook all the false beliefs, promises and false doctrines throughout its 140 year history.

  Do You Trust in Jehovah’s Way of Doing Things?

  15 As the end of this system of things draws near, we need to trust in Jehovah’s way of doing things as never before. Why? During the great tribulation, we may receive instructions that seem strange, impractical, or illogical. Of course, Jehovah will not speak to us personally. He will likely provide direction through his appointed representatives. That will hardly be the time to second-guess the direction or to view it with skepticism, wondering, ‘Is this really coming from Jehovah, or are the responsible brothers acting on their own?’ How will you fare during that crucial time in human history? The answer might be indicated by how you view theocratic direction now. If you trust the direction we receive today and readily obey, you will likely do the same during the great tribulation.​—Luke 16:10.

  
  

  This paragraph is another way the Watchtower Society use fear mongering to control their members. They slide this paragraph in to show that Jehovah only speaks to the Governing body when the great tribulation rolls around, no matter how strange, impractical, or illogical their instructions will be.

  The whole article really shows its true colors on, ''not what Jehovah wants'' but ''what what the Governing Body want'' today. Everything is cleverly disguised using Jehovah's name, not the Governing Body. Mind controls at its finest!

  2020’s are already a Train Wreck for JW ORG

  as the title says, we are nearly at the end of the 2nd year of the 2020’s, and already jw org is not only a car crash, but an absolute train wreck.. i’ve watched the annual meeting 2021 already, and it seems the gb are in fighting, morris openly disagreeing with lett, that is massive, and it’s something that has largely not been commented on by this community.

  covid-19 is not going anywhere, any trial meetings will surely be shut down, now omicron is doing the rounds.. it looks highly likely we will see a second negative growth year.

  “young ones” are waking up by the masses.

  I hear people say it on here all the time, and dare I say his name *cough* Lloyd evans *cough* has said it a number of times, that Watchtower is running scared and watchtower is in decline….
  We need to put in perspective the decrease from the 2020 report. It was 0.6%
  If we calculate a yearly -0.6 decrease over a 10 year period from 2020 figures it leaves us the grand total number of witnesses of:
  by 2030: - 7,933,479
  by 2040: - 7,471,357
  by 2050: - 7,036,154
  I agree that this is a significant decrease, but let’s not kid ourselves, the WT organisation will still be alive and well even with an annual 0.6% loss. Any reports of it’s near collapse are largely exaggerated.
